Oakhurst, California is located in the central Sierra Nevada mountains just 17 miles from the southern
entrance to Yosemite National Park. Oakhurst is the largest of the mountain communities boasting a population
of just under 9,000, Oakhurst (originally known as Fresno Flats) has experienced a great deal of growth in the last
two decades fueled in no small part by its generally mild climate and its ample opportunities for recreation.
